Continuing my look at whether some toys might house a Matt Mason figure, I cast my eye onto that large vessel known as the Star Bird, the Zero-X of the Seventies.
Would the Major fit anywhere in the Star Bird? Do you know?
Which toy vehicles do you think Matt Mason would like?
For ideas check out the Major Matt custom king Blueflamechevelle on his channel on You Tube!
The only way I can see is if The Major straddled the bridge and rode it like a horse! My vote for a custom ride is The Mongor Snake from Galoob's Defenders of the Earth series.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, Doctor Strangelove springs to mind Brian. As for Mongor, I once went to Toys R Us in the Nineties and the clearance shelves were stuffed with Defenders of the Earth boxed toys including Mongor, which was a big thing I recall. There were Secret Wars, Marvel Super Heroes and tons more defunct lines going cheap. I spent a tidy sum buying one of everything and a couple of some of best items like Mongor and the Doom Roller from Secret Wars. What a fab day that was!
DeleteFor some reason I'm seeing Star Wars design in the Star Bird. Maybe some Millennium Falcon and is that R2 D2 sat in top?
ReplyDeleteStarbird was always part of my Star Wars fleet even though there was no seating for any figures inside. It looked right at home next to the X wing fighter ( and Buck Rogers' Starship too)
ReplyDeleteThat's an intergalactic fleet you have there Brian! Might it be added to this Christmas maybe?
