Inspired by tales of amazing toy stalls at Sandown Toy Fair I wondered what a fabulous SWORD shop counter might look like.
Hardly the ultimate shop counter, here's a few Project SWORD odds 'n' sods on the table in my loft. I can't get to 90% of my stuff as its such a huge mess up there.

The paper on the table top is genuine vintage Imai gift wrap from a shop in Japan. It even has pictures of Project SWORD vehicles on it like the Prospector and the Scramble Bug!

That looks like a very cool SWORD shop display counter to me, Woodsy! Certainly an eye-catcher packed with colourful space age goodies. I'd certainly be queuing for the doors to open:)
ReplyDeleteme too, I really miss a real toy shop these days!
ReplyDeleteCheers guys. That toy shop round the corner from you as a kid is the best one Bill, with the Submarine Aircraft Carrier and the Space Plane in the window!
ReplyDeleteif only woodsy, if only. All those boxes piled up really takes me back. Might have to nip round and buy that Shado Sub!
