My latest acquisition, a large, nicely detailed Hotwheels Batmobile based on the classic 1966 vehicle.
It has figures of the Dynamic Duo in the cockpit, opening doors, and Robin holding the Batphone.
The figures, which are fixed are pretty good likenesses . When you open the doors you can even see the Batmobile's foot pedals in front of Batman's legs.
By moving the steering wheel, the front wheels can turn left or right.
It comes with a plastic display stand.
This is one of the several variations released by Hotwheels . Mine is version labelled DJJ39, another version without figures is version W1171. There's also another more expensive 'elite' version which has more detail and opening bonnet revealing engine, and opening trunk revealing Bat-computer.It has figures of the Dynamic Duo in the cockpit, opening doors, and Robin holding the Batphone.

There's probably others, but this one does me just fine.
Beautifully big and bold Batmobile, Scoop. I've seen this version around and I like it, especially as it has the Dynamic Duo. Another cool review and another cool Batman piece in your ever expanding collection :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tony. It is a nice model for the money ,and a good display piece.
DeleteThat is one seriously nice looking model. I only recently picked up a corgi batmobile, partly inspired by your posts reminding me what a great looking design that car is.
ReplyDeleteThe Corgi Batmobile is still king,Kev, but this is pretty good if you wanted something bigger. It's around a footlong by the way.
ReplyDeleteI love this version Scoop!!! None of my Mattel Batmobile's have the figures and they look kinda empty without them.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer figures inside, Ed, as I reckon it 'brings the model to life' for me. I'm building a Polar Lights 1:25 scale kit of the Batmobile, and I bought that version because it had figures with it.
