This great looking model of Atragon was produced by Revoltech, and appeared in 2012.
In spite of it being only 174 mm, its full of intricate little features.
There's plenty of surface detail.
Here's the model in a similar pose as seen in the film, flying over the surface of the water.
The conning tower, canard fins, aft rudders and forward rock cutters all retract into the hull, to create the flying missile look as seen in the film. There are two drill versions - the classic one with the cutters at the front, or one with a sharp point.
The model comes with a posable display stand which fits into one of three position at the base of the hull.
The box showing the features.
This is certainly a lovely model, and unlike the larger Aoshima die-cast motorised version, much more affordable.
