Count Dante was the master of the Black Dragon Fighting Society.
His skills were often flaunted in the hallowed back pages of kids' comics in the Seventies. He was after all the deadliest man alive and had personally killed everybody in the world.
Looking a lot like Count Dracula with sideburns, Count Dante was actually called John. John Timothy Keehan and hailed from Chicago.
He was reputed to be expert in the secret art of Dim Mak or the Death Touch, crash courses for which were also advertised in childrens' comics in the early Nineteen Seventies.
I just hope that there isn't a dormant army of dim mak stepford kids waiting to strike at the Count's command.
Sadly, Count Dante was touched by death himself at the all too young age of 39, but for a few brief years he was the character in the backs of our comics we feared the most and single-handedly popularised the Dim Mak.
