Hi Woodsy - funny you should mention old Bernard....
This was done a few years ago for Spaceship Away magazine but we couldn't get the rights from Kneale's estate as they were tied up with Hammer Film but in light of recent developments in that area I'm dusting them off and redrawing it at this very moment!! Our version of Bernard looks a bit off because we didn't want to risk being sued by the estates of the actors involved but the new version I've come up with is based very much on Andrew Keir but tinged with aspects of John Mills:
Also, don't forget to check out The Quatermass Memoirs - an audiodrama with Andrew Keir again as the Prof in retirement looking back on his career but at the end it leads into Ringstone Round. Also has audio commentary from Kneale himself about how he created the stories and why he included certain very nihilistic qualities to the whole series. As I once said you always get a victory with Quatermass but that doesn't always mean a happy ending lol.
Feel free to use any of this in the blog if you feel it's of interest and as for the Quatermass Continuum...let's say it could just be Bernard's biggest story yet....
