SEVENTH BLOGGIVERSARY FINAL POST: EARLY ADVERTISING FOR NETWORK'S SUPERMARIONATION DVD/ TV21 SET FROM BILL STORIE

 

Hi Woodsy,

Here's a copy of the page used in the early advertising material for the Supermarionation Blu Ray/TV21 set [from Network]. 

It's actually the first page of a strip that John Freeman (Down the Tubes website) and I are working on as a fan project, but the people at Network asked if they could use it in the ads in the absence of the official TBirds pages from Martin Baines which weren't ready at that time. 

I believe so, with John already doing the writing for some of the TV21 strips I was OK with it. I know it starts in the middle of an adventure but that's intentional in order to start the story with a bang but the main story starts at the conclusion of this rescue on page 2 when...errrr OK John I'll say no more just now - spoilers!! Writers eh??

Still loving the site btw - I lurk around on the fringes but as my own collection of similar toys is long gone.
