Nice shots Woodsy! It's been overcast here in Vegas this week.. We even got a little rain yesterday (100 drops - I counted) making it tough to get Moon pics. We couldn't even see Jupiter, Venus, or Saturn like we should've.
I think last night's drizzle came from a local company called 'Rent-a-rain' LOL Actually Lake Mead is the country's (world's ?) largest reservoir and is dependent on snow pack melt from the Rockies. No snow, no snow melt, no snow melt, no Lake Mead. It's at its lowest level ever right now and we may have to start truckin' in water!
Its very yellow, are they retouched? Great idea with the binos, I was tempted to make a mount for the telescope, wont bother now!

ReplyDeleteCheers guys. Not retouched them Bill. Probably my camera and the old dusty bins* I used!
ReplyDeleteA hundreds drops of rain eh Ed! Sounds like a novel! Where do you get your water from in Lost Wages?
*bins: twitcher speak for binoculars, the tools of the trade for gripping off other twitchers.
