As you can see, P.E. have had it moulded in the shape of the Dalek Saucer from the Dalek - Invasion Earth: 2150 AD film . It's a pretty good rendition and in the absence of any other commercially available models of this super looking spaceship, I can imagine that with a little work these hand sets could be turned into a pretty good miniature.
I suspect this little beauty could become as collectable as the Dalek itself.
They're lovely those Scoop. the background graphics are cool too. Are product Enterprise still going?
ReplyDeleteThanks Woodsy. Sadly, I believe Product Enterprise ceased trading a while back.
ReplyDeleteA mate of mine is thinking of getting a digital 3-d printer. I think when he gets it, I'll have to pester him to see if it will be good enough to do me an AARU Dalek saucer. The original model was big, and used again for a couple of low budget movies. It's totally convincing in the Dalek movie, especially when it chases the van carrying Tyler and Susan.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment Brian. A good size model of the saucer would be great to see. I wish some commercial kit company would produce one.
DeleteThe Dalek saucer does turn up briefly at the end of the Tigon film , The Body Stealers, another low budget favourite of mine.
Hi buddy, Love you pictures. I was wondering if you've heard of any of the toy manufacturers have any intentions of producing a current dalek spaceship. I want one and a Galifrey citadel dome. Spread the word ;)
