OK, this just shows how difficult collecting autographs could be. the other day I asked readers for suggestions as to the identity of the signature below, which came as part of a group of Fifties B-movie actors' autographs including Rex Reason and Mara Corday.
I was thrilled with the response from readers and two particular names were convincingly put forward: Craig Stevens, who played 1950's TV private eye Peter Gunn and Craig Thomas, the Welsh author of the novel Firefox, which was made into a big movie starring Clint Eastwood. Trouble is, I can't decide. Looking them up online, the autographs are SO similar! What do you think readers?

Thomas...high dot on the i, second stroke on the T which is too high for the t in Stevens, both times. Thomas!
ReplyDeleteDotting the i's and crossing the t's huh!
To add up to the confusion, a couple of photos of the Welsh author Craig Thomas (one autographed)
