A CHRISTMAS TALE: BIRTH OF THE HOVER TANK

I have often wondered what a brand new SWORD toy might be like at Christmas. There are loads on the SWORD Annual which would make great toys: Sea Sword, ANT, Diver 1 to name but a few.

But the SWORD vehicle concept, by Eric Eden, which deserves to be a toy is the Hover Tank. So I discussed the idea with resident model magician Kevin D and he said 'get me two old tank chassis'.

Ebay has come to the rescue and these two lovely old Marx tanks have been purchased for the princely sum of 99p. The birth of the Hover Tank has begun!
