This is the very first example of Spacex II which came into my hands, courtesy of my old schoolfriend, who got it as a birthday gift for me. Again, it was the early seventies and until I actually had it in my hand, I wouldn't believe it existed. Since then, I have seen two others, one which I got from my mate and a third in the collection of Will Osborne.
Once more, I got overenthusiastic with the Humbrol, painting the fuselage black. A beautifully designed model, combining the unusual bulky shape of the original design, with a chunky, powerful looking engine and heavier shuttle, than its Sword brother.
Never owned (or even seen) a Spacex II toy but this one would, I suspect, be a favourite. The C21 toy is brilliant and was one of the only 2 Sword toys I had as a kid.
