New Book: 2001 The Heritage and Legacy of the Space Odyssey

We have a new book out. 2001 The Heritage and Legacy of the Space Odyssey, A sort of overview of space movies written by Frederick Ordway (technical adviser on 2001 A Space Odyssey) with some assistance from yours truly. Not a big book but includes Fred's memories of working on set with Kubrick et al. I brought some of the British and Canadian to the story, including putting in a section about the Gerry/Sylvia Anderson - Kubrick interaction and Project SWORD/2001 toy parties etc.

Goes from La Voyage Dans la Lune (1902) all the way to Gravity (2013). Short promo movie here.
