Back in the 1960s before the advent of VCR, CD and DVD things were still FAB!
Gerry and Sylvia Anderson with their Century 21 team were producing not only television and film productions that would enchant a generation of children but merchandise too closely allied with all of their on-screen creations. Comics, die-cast vehicles, confectionary, books and play outfits along with
activity toys, dolls and even footwear lined shelves in shops across the country.
All sold in huge volumes with much being released through company subsidiaries Century 21 Toys or Century 21 Publishing. With The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and other English Pop music shifting vinyl in massive quantities across the globe it seemed a natural expansion for the company to form Century 21 Records.
