During my 80/90's fascination with all things robotic, I was delighted to find a series of non-transforming robot models by Tomy. As it later turned out, they had been hugely popular in Japan and broke on the european shores with a smaller range. Tomy uk decided to name the range after computer terms such as Megahertz CPU and Hacker. The robots came in two sizes, six and ten inch, both powered by battery. Features including a great walking action, swinging arms and moving heads. The idea was to 'fight' the good robots against the bad, the powerful little motors allowing for some interesting tussles. In the larger models, a concealed hatch revealed a small chrome pilot who could easily be cousin to the Golden Astronaut!
I have four of these robots and was wondering if they would be worth anything these days. I have cpu, hacker and a larger one who's name I can't remember and also a small black one.
Bill, are these part of your collection? In any case they do have a certain Transformer kind of look to them.
