We could do with International Rescue in Yorkshire! Much of North Yorkshire is underwater after the worst September floods for decades. The Fire Service are doing an amazing job as always.
What's the weather like in your neck of the universe?
Pretty wet here in sunless Southport, but nowhere near as bad as what some people are going through.in the rest of the country. Hopefully Moonbase isn't too close to the river Ouse That's one of the danger zones in your area. : (
Hope all goes OK Woodsy- Have to report the east of england is mostly cool, dry and sunny- but we tend to be perverse and have different weather to everywhere else!
Business as usual in northeastern U.S.Nights are cooling off and I covered up the swimming pool today.we're thankful to be back to normal because this was a terrible summer for storms and tornado activity. A twister struck southern New Jersey on June 29 and it took most of the summer to clean up. I was in Camden that night to see Iron Maiden(great show!)and discovered that I couldn't get home because of downed trees.Slept in my truck. Here's hoping for better days, guys.
There was very rare footage of a fire cyclone on the News the other day - a tornado of fire in some hot arid scrubland. Can't think where it was but it looked spectacular, alien and scary at the same time!

Sunny and boring. After the monsoon rains a few weeks ago and some bad flooding, we've dried out to our usual boring self. Days are 90deg-95degF
ReplyDeleteIt must be awful, Ed. Oh to be sunny and boring. : D
ReplyDeleteMind you, the monsoons don't sound too good.

ReplyDeleteIron maiden and slept in your truck! Sounds like the rock n roll lifestyle! And you've got a truck! In the Uk we mostly just have cars.
