SWORD HORDE

My final post before boarding a plane summarises what I've seen up for auction of late. It's been a busy month for Swordies on Ebay. There's still some tasty morsels to be had, which the top montage reflects. It's probably the best haul of SWORD badges I've ever seen on Ebay, including the elusive SUPREMO. My favourites however are the two Tarheel SWORD vehicles [top right], which are sadly lacking in the Moon Base fleet. I won't be bidding but I hope that the lucky winner adds considerably to their Tarheel fleet and may even send me a few snaps when they are in situ!

Recent completed auctions also offered some rich pickings for Swordies, one of which actually came my way - the damaged loose Task Force 1. There was a lovely COMMANDER badge too - wonder if that went with a SWORD toy or was sought after for its own merits. My favourite, however, and another vehicle sadly missing from the Moon Base flotilla, is the JR21 XL9 ROCKET, a relative of SWORD's Probe Force 3.
