I got bored and started playing on the 'puter today. Using a shot I took of last night's Supermoon I thought it would be neat to add the Pyro X-100 Space Scout on a patrol of the sector. I haven't posted this to my blog yet so if ya like it you can use it on Moonbase Central.
This next Saturday I'm starting to do a modest series on Supercar! Specifically the 1/64 scale Johnny Lightning versions.
Cheers!

It's neat how the black background of the photo disappears completely into the blog's background!
ReplyDeleteQuite nice! Love the 1950's Pyro (and Tudor Rose)space...again the Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon cusp of design vs. function. Pyro did some 60's era hard plastic jet aircraft (nice smooth classic designs too) Ed. do you have any of these to show us?
ReplyDeleteCS,
ReplyDeleteMany Thanx! I've got a red Tudor Rose version of this X-100 coming from the Netherlands. I just bought it last week so it may take awhile to get here. Yes I do have '60s era Pyro plastic jets - just haven't photographed them yet as I've been concentrating on the tin-litho stuff - a BEAUTIFUL Marx 727 American Airlines Astro Jet will be featured on Toys & Stuff this Friday, which I bought from (of all places) Athens, Greece! If you'd like I can do a couple of photo shoots in the next week or so?
