UNBOXED 'SEARS' ROCKET LAUNCHER [Apollo Saturn forerunner] IN SHOP WINDOW, Oxford Street, London in Xmas Round The World December 1964 - sound, black and white. 'Sears' Rocket appears unboxed at 1.02 minutes for a few seconds [along with a working Dux Astroman!] NB. this clip pushes back the date for the earliest known sighting of the 'Sears' Rocket by a good six months from June 1965 [reader Jim's TV21 ad] to December 1964. ReplyDeleteI intend to 1..saw a complete superset at Donnington toy fair, around 3 years ago, an oldish guy was selling, he wanted £70.00, i umed & arred and passed it up..something i'm still regretting, i still have some of my original one, but the one that guy had was more or less complete.plus i only took £80 with me!
