Blog readers may recall Frank Mays awesome 1:12 scale models for his Major Matt Mason figures and most notably the vast Orbital Space Station. Frank has recently added some much needed computing power to the model in the shape of large consoles. Frank explains:
"When I was doing my OSS a couple of years ago, I didn't do any 'refrigerator-sized' computers, as typical of the late '60s - early '70s era, as I thought the consoles would be enough, but a few months back I thought it needed some. I finally had a few minutes earlier in the week to make some. I just made & installed the stickers. One for each control room. I'll send pics later after they get delivered & installed. :) The tape reels are again taken from the GI Joe MSV consoles while the panels of 'flashing lights' came from Google Images, a pic of 'colored squares'. The 'printouts' being 'printed' are graphs again found on Google Images, each graph being different. The 'computers' are just blocks of wood, about 6" x 2" x 1 1/2" painted white."
Oh man, that's just delightful!

OMG, those are wonderful! Well done, Frank.
