The fabulous craft above appeared in Lady Penelope comic #50 31st December 1966, which I stumble on browsing through the brilliant GACCH. I dunno, it just reminds me a lot of Task Force 1 and is a good six momths before the SWORD strip in SOLO. Maybe I'm seeing things. The picture above is the Dutch version generously provided by Philotoadia.
Here's another bit of Dutch Andersonalia. Blog friend Paul Vreede informs me it's a vintage 1967 chewing gum wrapper. Paul has kindly translated it:
Zero-X has landed (nr D16/series D = 24 images) Finally the Zero-X Mars vehicle lands safely on Mars. Request the giant wall poster with separate space to stick all the images. Send 10 Adams outer wrappers + ƒ0.85 * in extra postage stamps + name and address to: Adams TV 2000 club, POB 2075, Utrecht.- Read the tremendous youth magazine TV 2000. Yellow box: TV2000 CLUB - Request: giant wall poster of ZERO-X.
The wall poster sounds brilliant. Anyone remember it?
