Hi Woodsy,
I've attached some pics:
- The Space Car from a few angles. I took this apart, removed the excess glue from the clear domes and sorted out all of the seams to reduce the gaps.
- The SpaceX LT-10 that I restored using ref and a mould made by WOTAN. The rear end is a quick fix until I have time to create a more accurate version.
- An HK hydroplane that I've not come across before. I made the battery hatches for this.
Feel free to use these on the blog.
Ferryman
Woo and Hoo, Ferryman. Nice work on that restoration!
ReplyDeleteWote, a question for you: how did you make that mould for Ferryman?
Loving that space car - a thing of beauty.
ReplyDeleteLT10 - Ferryman asked me to creat a mould for the forward silver ring/collar by taking the part from my complete version and simply pressing it into a piece of Fimo. This was then set in an oven and then he filled the mould with Milliput and trimmed up the resultant cast. Simple, but very effective!
Ahhh, I see. Yes, very effective!
