Hello there.Well all I can say is wow!
I have been trying to find information about a battery operated fan powered " speed boat" I am amazed that through the wonders of google I have found it. The Comet hydroplane was given to me when I was in hospital getting my tonsils removed ( they did that a lot in the 60's) My brother bought it and like you I recall endless minutes of fun running the batteries dead in the bathtub. Thanks for positng the photos - now I just have to find one for sale.Cheers and have a happy easter.

Hi Paul.
Thought I'd just send you this picture of the "When Worlds Collide" Space Ark. I thought it had quite the Project Sword/Spacex look about it.The film was made in 1951 so it might have had a little infulence? What do you think? Hope you might post it on your site!
All the best,
Ed.

Hi Paul
I have load of these but no packaging - the four Blue Box toy friction plastic space toys (says 'shuttle' on the packets - below). Have you any for sale? Also have you any with the 'Blakes 7 stickers' on? Let me know a price. Can put this on your site if wish.I also own the original liberator studio model from blakes 7. This is my web site, SCI FI SOUTH COLLECTORS - have a look.

ReplyDeleteI thought Mat Irvine "owned" the Liberator from Blakes 7?!
ReplyDeleteYours puzzled,

There would have been more than one model used in filming, I suspect.
