The Astronaut Wrangler Mystery
I recall the other night, after watching the wondrous Artemis II lift off, the array of post-launch talking heads on TV.
One of them was the Astronaut Wrangler. I had to look it up. It appears that it was Buzz Aldrin's promoter. Fascinated that he needed promoting I looked for it on Wiki, only to find nothing.
Checking further it appears that as it's the promotion, marketing and management of a famous person, the promoter isn't by default famous and therefore doesn't get a wiki page!
I was amazed. An American news channel interviewed her five minutes after Artemis II took off!
Cosmic Coastline
As Orion zooms towards the dark side I saw this old flyer for space resorts on Florida's rocket coast. I've heard of Coco Beach but not the other two, Titusville and Melbourne.
Are you familiar with those places?
8 Wheel Mystery
I saw this on auction, an odd looking winged vehicle like a Thunderbirds transporter car welded to a formula 1 racer!
Made in Japan. I can't read the Japanese script.
What do you think?!
Cake Canaveral
I quite like these blister carded cake toppers.
There's a few different companies which released them.
I think the rocket gantry might be the same as Apollo Moon Exploring. Is that right?
Easta Vespa
It's Easter Monday and Mario and his bunny are off pace egging down the local hilly park.
What are you up to readers?

CONGO
There's a handful of 90's films which I enjoy watching again. I'm unsure if they were blockbusters but they were all well made and to me interesting.
The Relic, Hollow Man, Mothman Prophecies, Deep Impact, Twister, Dantes Peak, Lake Placid and Congo amongst others.
Congo is one of those flicks which in my mind is two films. The first is the young guy teaching Amy the gorilla to communicate. I even bought a few Congo toys at the time including a plush Amy! The second part of the film is an expedition into deepest somewhere, where a ruin is guarded by murderous albino apes. It's a movie I'd like to see again to see if I can patch the two parts together.
It's on Legend on TV later in April here in the UK.
Is Congo a film you know readers? Did you buy any toys?
