Ed's Jungle Toys

I never had that much by way of Jungle-themed toys. The first four photos show things I used to own but sold off years ago. 

The last photo shows a grouping of MPC 60mm ringhands that came to me in various job lots. MPC only made four poses for their jungle ringhands but had multiple accessories to go with them.

Kevin's Blakes 7 Replicas at Brit SciFi 2024

At the end of September last year, I took part, in a very small capacity, in the Brit SciFi event at the Leicester Space Centre. There were loads of displays, panels and presentations, I was there with the Hyde Fundraisers and mounted a display of replica Blakes 7 props.

The event lasted for both days of the weekend and seemed to go down well.

BILLY BLASTOFF AND LUNAR SCOUT: WHATS ON THEIR TV'S?

I love miniature toy TV's.

I always have and had lots of different types as a nipper in the Sixties: viewmaster types, which you clicked for a new piccy through the tiny eyepiece; the little TV in the Corgi Lincoln Continental and of course Billy Blastoff's TV. 

In the Billy Blastoff  knockoff Lunar Scout set the picture used as its mini TV screen is a neat looking and familiar Thunderbird 2.

Ringing bells I found its source. Here it is courtesy of Arto, the boxed and wondrous box art on the Ray Guided X-2 Space Ship..

Taking a look at the real Billy Blastoff's TV by Eldon/ Scalecraft, pictured below, it has a completely different screen picture, though in order to identify it I really need it to be illuminated by Billy's backpack. Can anyone oblige?

Cor! A GOR Helmet

This GOR toy space helmet looks great. It also looks really sturdy but I'm going on the picture.

JUNKING IN EMPORIA 2: ZOWIES

 Further junking brought up these bad boys in two emporia: the old Magistrates Court and Etsy, both in Pontefract.

All in good nick and just one pound each. Bargain!

I was particularly chuffed with the little Zowies, those comical miniature Hot Wheels with tyres too small for the redline they deserved. I had these as a kid and they ran on lino really well. These three take my small collection to five.
