 Japan produced some of the best space toys.

Here's a super neat Space Shuttle watch on a blister card. What do you think?

Looks like its a disc launching watch. I presume the launcher is inside the watch itself.

The card art is ace. A big shuttle and a fab telescope satellite, a bit like our friend the Triang SpaceX ATS shown here courtesy of Bill.

 Chucking it down here in West Yorkshire. A regular deluge. No car boots so we're stuck inside. A wet Mothering Sunday in Pontefract!

I'm waiting for Amazon prime to deliver some tractor drivers and getting antsy.

We had a cooked breakfast earlier, so that was good.

BLAKE'S 7 HEALING GADGET FROM SCRATCH BY KEVIN

Hi,

A quick scratchbuild of the gadget seen in series 1 of Blake's 7. Gan uses it to mend an injury to Jenna's arm. Judging by her amazed reaction, it must be more advanced than Federation technology and therefore part of the Liberator's equipment.

APE TAPE: KEVIN'S SCRATCHBIULT POTA RECORDER

A very quick scratchbuild indeed. The flight data recorder disc from the Planet of the Apes TV series. Virdon believes it contains the information they need to get them home. Burke is less convinced and Galen doesn't have a view on it!

Thought I might as well make the bit of their ship that it slots into as well, makes a nice wall display.

A RUDIMENTARY RRRUMBLERS RIP CODE

 Whilst waiting for my Boneshaker Ebay 'rider' to arrive in the excruciatingly slow post, I've had a crack at another Rrrumbler,  the amazing Rip Code.

Here's an original by Mattel.

It was this small Christmas chocolate liqueurs crate that set me off with this one!

Despite being bigger than the original toy it looked perfect!

Feeling impatient I quickly bashed out the boxy shape.

Some nice blue paint is on order to finish the body.

Meanwhile a missing rider is my bane once again. I just cannot find bike or tractor riders in Charity shops.

I did find this footless soldier in my footlocker ....

.... and daubed him in yellow. I took more of his legs off. 

He'd had enough. So had I and even with more 'improvements' I'm not sure he'll be fit for duty.

I need another rider from Ebay!

Like any 'rush' job it's harder than I first thought.

Now where's the postman!
