I've just found this printable Space 1999 Mattel Eagle box!
I don't have the toy but maybe you need that elusive box!

Glimpses of the old lands in and around Wentworth Castle in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, which we visited today.
I do like the look of this UFO money box. I saved the pics from an auction. It has a Popy Thunderbirds vibe to it I feel. Reading the box the saucer turns round when given money!
Have you got one?
I just came across this custom-made Honey West die-cast set. Someone has done her Cobra in yellow, and the surveillance van in grey-green, then put them in a faux Corgi Gift Set box.
The artwork on the outer box is clearly based on the real Honey West boardgame by Ideal. The results look pretty good, although the models are not totally screen accurate.
Honey's Cobra was an early model, without the side exhaust pipes or roll bar behind the driver. Also, Honey was blonde, not a redhead.

Buzz's nemesis in a Richmond charity shop. £8. I resisted.
This is a part of a blog legend, the legend of the Century 21 Lunar Climber toy. Here we have its forerunner from Japan's Midori models. How astronomically cool is that! Anyone got anything like it?
Here is a great new documentary from Airailimages on Operation Sandy, the launching of a captured WW2 V-2 rocket from the aft flight deck of the new American aircraft carrier USS Midway. Several modifications were made to the Midway for the test, which was the only launch of a V-2 from a ship. The test took place on 6th September 1947.
This is a great film, showing the V-2 being moved by road and rail - it just fitted inside a big American box car. The support equipment and road transport trailers were carried on open flat wagons. Then loading equipment aboard the Midway, and the test itself. The film clips are a mix of colour and black and white.
An amazing piece of history.
