I liked this Aston Martin I saw on Ebay. I saved the pics.

Its a red version of the white one I have, which was also released by Century 21 Toys.

Mini-Trac in Antarctica

Here is another weird and very wonderful video from You Tube about vehicles used in Antarctica.

After a few shots of the tracked Swedish Snow-Trac and American Weasel, and the amphibious DUKW truck, we launch in to the main subject of the film.

A tracked version of the Mini, called the Mini-Trac, built in Australia, and actually sent out to the ice for testing.

What a great model that would make, although the suspension would require a fair amount of work. A wonderful piece of history.

The Talos Vinyl Figure

Here is a video from Laura Legends, featuring a review of the Ray Harryhausen stop-motion animation character Talos, from the film Jason and the Argonauts (1963).

This is a large vinyl figure by a company called Star Ace. It is part of their Supervinyl Statue range, and stands 32cm tall, or just over 12 inches.

There are two versions of the figure - Normal (figure and ship) with Talos lifting the ship Argo out of the water; and Deluxe, which also includes a scenic base, depicting the sea and rocks, with Talos standing on the rocks.

The diorama version is a limited edition of only 800 worldwide. Copyright date 2021. This is a great looking figure, with an excellent bronze finish. Bet it is also expensive.
