A MYSTERY FROM BILL EVERATT: HIS THUNDERBIRD 2

Here is a question for the readers. Sometime in the mid to late 1960s I remember having a small plastic Thunderbird 2 kit. I think it was larger than the Kellogg's premiums, it could have been a premium with some other manufacturer.

Or possibly one of these mail offs.

It was not a Lincoln kit, and it was somewhat smaller than the 350th imai model.

Also the windows on the flight deck were gapped. 

Do you recognise the description. It was about 2 1/2 inches long. So a pretty small kit. I remember playing with it often.

Any ideas?

CENTURY 21 LICENCES: A FEW MORE

Here we have the Champions' paperback and The Man In A Suitcase paperback

and from the 1967 Dinky catalogue 'The Prisoner' Mini Moke and the 'Candy and Andy' Stripey The Magic Mini car. 

This is the only one that mentions Century 21 on any of these!

PIPPIN TOYS FIRE SQUAD VEHICLE

 

I liked this Pedigree Pippin Pippin People boxed Fire Squad vehicle I saw on an old Vectis auction.

I've not seen one before.

Its stylish design caught my eye and I can see why Pippin Toys, the makers, were involved in those super-stylish Spacex II toys as well.

Have you any Pippin Toys readers?

Noch's Creepy Graveyard

I have just found another item from the German firm Noch, in HO (1/87th scale) for use with model railways. This is the 58585 Creepy Graveyard set. It is made of structured hard foam - not exactly sure what that is; it comes ready assembled and painted; it is 19 x 13.5 cm and is 9 cm high, but I am not sure if that applies to the model or the box; 

there are two withered trees with fallen leaves in red and yellow, and seven separate tombstones and monuments. There are no figures, but it could be used with the Noch vampire or zombie sets. There are also sets of further tombstones and monuments from Noch and Preiser. 

It is fairly expensive at 60 Euros, or over £50.
