Further to MJ Southcoast base's comment on the LONDON LAYOUT post yesterday:

Excellent, did you ever build the Johnny Lightening 1950's Batmobile?

The answer is it's in the pipeline! 

Scale was too large for Northern Heights so has sat unbuilt. Here is the Johnny Lightening Batmobile, along with the CORGI version and my own scratch built one. Interesting that I bought the Johnny Lightening one in London on a visit. Didn't see it in the US.

Also two photos off line that show the PYRO car that was the basis for my Batmobile.

SOVIET SPACE BOAT

I saw this old friend again this year. Its a Soviet futuristic boat. About 10 years ago I used it as the cover of an online custom Project SWORD box art project. I called it the SWORD Moon Dart. It doesn't need SWORD to make it look good though. Its a brilliant example of how cool Soviet space toy design was back in the day.

Mego Olan Mills

Hi Woodsy,

 as requested some family portraits!

I have 3 Mego Spidey's, a pair of 8 inch and a 12 inch, I won them all in different mail away competitions either from comics or my local paper! 

So my Spidey family came free, however I had to pay for the rest of my Mego super's as I started collecting!

COMIC ACTION HEROES BATMOBILE EXPLODING BRIDGE SET

I once invested in this fab boxed Mego set for my toy fair stall.

I bought it at a good price at the NEC Memorabilia fir about 20 years ago.

It was fun to try out and sell on.

I used to look out for Comic Action hero action figures and the similar Pocket Heros wherever I could. Great fun and cool action figures.

THE WRIST DOODLER: SMART ART

I love this kids gadget, the Wrist Doodler.

Its by Golden Rose from 1981.

Its the old sketch n wipe technique that makes this work.

It comes with crayons, paper and wiper.

Quite clearly its the origin of the Smart phone!
