toy hunter: american readers help!

I am still missing my weekly dose of vintage toy hunting on the US TV show Toy Hunter here in the UK. Its been ages since anything was on British TV. 

Can anyone tell me how many series of the show there were and when did it stop being shown on US TV?

gary Sprake rip

When I was a kid I was a fan of leeds united football club in the late sixties early seventies.

They were so good even a geek like me knew talent when I saw it. They had the zazzle of Brazil and I remember all their names. I also had all their autographs.

I'm not a footy fan at all anymore but I did mark today's news with a tear in my eye.

Gary Sprake the goalkeeper of Leeds United back then has died. Rest in peace Gary.

space domes missing

This is the Miniature Apollo Exploration Set as it appeared on Etsy. These cool sets came boxed and had many parts as you can see.

These included two small white plastic domes with a black and white hatched band on the larger one - above right bottom. They also appear to have a small nipple on top.

Here they are in the Sears catalogue.

These two domes are missing in my set and I have been thinking what would make a suitable replacement. Has anyone got any ideas?

I saw these small plastic robots on Odeerg's You Tube channel and thought, hmm, I haven't seen those before.

They are Moon Men by Cragstan. I like names: Furo, Gazo, Mazor and Cobor.

Anyone got any of these?

kensington game?

I recall flicking through my Sister's old stack of LP's years ago and coming across what I initially thought was another album.

It wasn't.

It was a game called Kensington.

My two Nephews must have got it in the Seventies and shoved it in with the records as it was the same shape and size.

No idea what the game was like.

Anyone remember the game Kensington?

the toy factory 1972

This is fun. A British Pathe silent film about toy making in 1972. There's some familiar faces like the plush Rupert. 

Quite a few toy trains at the start too.

The dolls' arms mould at the end is fascinating.
