Woodsy and Fellow Moonbasers,
I am stoked to present this latest LP set I received last week (the second LP set in as many months): the LP #704 Lunar Exploration Set.
It has three separate modules in one window display box and while most of the pieces are fairly easy to come by here, the OD vehicle and the yellow 'bus' are bears to acquire.
The bus is my first one.

That is a great set. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanx Paul! This was a lucky catch!
DeleteStunning set, Ed. Superb package layout.
ReplyDeleteThanx Tony! This is definitely one of my better LP sets!
DeleteExtremely difficult to find in that condition. Well done, Ed.
ReplyDeleteMany Thanx Arto! I was lucky to see this come up in my search. LP sets just don't appear that often.
DeleteSome truly beautiful toy machines, so sublime in their streamlined design. That bus particularly is beyond beautiful. Good job man! SFZ
ReplyDeleteThanx! Although I've seen that bus in photos, this has been the very first time I've seen it for sale. I would have been happy to get one as a loose piece, but getting it as part of a set is a bonus!
DeleteBetween the pristine packaging and the rare jewels inside, it’s really like going back to the day when you might have encountered it in the wild. Amazing! SFZ
DeleteThat moonbus is on ebay right now under LP moon explorer .
ReplyDeleteAs a single item at £20.
I checked it out last night. Unfortunately I'll have to wait until Monday to buy it - IF it's still available that is! Anywho, thanx for the tip!!
DeleteIts been up for months so fingers crossed.
DeleteI bought it! Just now. Now it's just a waiting game. I've got another toy on its way from the UK as well that should be a lot of fun.
DeleteWell done, Ed & Bettina!
ReplyDeleteTHE MIGHTY HUNTER RETURNS!
LOL Thanx Lewis!
DeleteA lovely piece Ed and becoming increasing rare these days too! Bill
