I do love Batman. The toys, merchandise and games too. Some of these here I've owned at some point over the last 30 years and then sold on, especially when I had a vintage toy stall years ago. The rest were part of my photo archive for research such as the IDEAL and Sears sets.
Did you/ do you have any of these?
Have you had/ got any of these readers?
Batmobiles next!
Just to add, the card game, bread bag and drinks carton were bought on eBay US to give my toy stall some pizazz. They did and sold well. The 1966 hanky and the bat grenade were found in charity shops and were great finds. I had them both a while before they went in my stall too. Maybe the most exciting thing I found was the huge Josman armour and weapons boxed set I just came across food shopping at the local co-op in the 90s I think. It was fab to find and looked great on the toy fair stand!
ReplyDeleteThat Lone Star toy gun gets everywhere! I remember it as their Stingray gun and understand it was sold as a Dan Dare gun too.
ReplyDeleteYep, a classic design Yorkie. This one looks like its plastic.
DeleteWow, I'll take that blue Bat Rocket please! I love how these franchises inspire so many weird knock-off vehicles, that's my thing! SFZ
ReplyDeleteYep, Batman and Japan. What a combo!
DeleteExcellent selection of photos Woodsy! While I don't have anything pictured here there are several I'd give my eye tooth for!
ReplyDeleteha ha! I wish I'd kept them now too Ed!
DeleteI did not have any Batman toys - the only thing I has was a Batman annual, and perhaps a few comics. Since those dark days, I have acquired a fair number of Batman die-casts (mostly Hot Wheels) and a re-issue of the 1960s Aurora Batmobile (Polar Lights I think).
