I noticed that the old 1999 talking Scott Tracy figure from Vivid came with this plastic rifle.
Its not a toy rifle I know and I don't think there's been a life-size version of it made for kids.
Is it based on one in the original Thunderbirds TV show? Anyone know?
It's very similar to the rifle Alan Tracy is holding in a bubblegum card photo.
ReplyDeleteDoing some further checking, the gun is similar to the one Alan has in number 37 of the Somportex Series 2 (Colour) Cards. I also remember seeing this picture in opening sequence of the Thunderbirds And Go film in my local cinema in 1967. (Not the heads and shoulders in the modern release)
