I had a spare half hour at work so I found myself doodling. Before I knew it I had a whole flotilla of frigates and destroyers.
It reminded me of drawing cars, ships and spacecraft and space battles when I was a kid.
Do you/ did you doodle readers? Any vehicles?
All the time as a kid, invariably Anderson or Spacex vehicles. Nowadays I build replicas of them instead!
ReplyDeleteYou still got any drawings Kev?
DeleteNot from when I was a kid, might have some more recent ones.
DeleteAll received Kev. To be posted asap. Thanks.
DeleteWow Paul! You are a really good artist, with work reminiscent of Jon Davies from TV21.
ReplyDeleteHey thanks Bill! You've made my day!
DeleteWhen I were a nipper... I remember sitting in a classroom at about age 10 or 11, drawing a pitched battle between tanks and flying saucers. I was so engrossed I didn't realise my dreaded teacher was standing behind me, looking over my shoulder. His response was his usual, he grabbed me by my mop top and hauled me out of my chair and spun me in a little circle. I spent the rest of the period combing loose hairs out of my aching scalp.
ReplyDeleteI don't have the drawing, but I still have my hair. Unlike that miserable excuse for a teacher!
That teacher sounds like a right plonker Looey. Tanks and flying saucers! Sounds ace!
