Hi,
Here is a most unusual little 'model', which I picked up second-hand a few years ago in a model shop.
It is a wooden replica of a San Francisco cable car, but it is also a music box - the key to wind it up is just visible under the model, between the wheels. Red, white, blue, and gold.
It came with its box, but there is no maker or country of origin on it anywhere. Looks to be a souvenir item.
Has anyone else got anything like this?

This is cute Paul and it really doesn't look wooden. Great colouring. I've always wanted to go to San Francisco and board one pf these trams that go up and down the hills!
ReplyDeleteI now have six different San Francisco cable cars, and I am not even officially collecting them. They do make really nice, and colourful little models. Yes, it would be fun to ride on one of them.
