The Midori Green Slime spaceship... Here's a 70's Plamo ( Plas(tic) Mo(del) ) Japanese print ad I scanned for you featuring all the ship kit designs..

And further to your article on "The Studio" My wife Marilyn who is an illustrator and miniaturist was deeply impressed by this book before we met and showed it to me as a source of inspiration. 

We used it as such in our Sci Fi artists' commune in the early 1980's and later it was at the back of our minds when we finally built our dream home/studio in the Blue Mountains of NSW. Here are a few shots of it...
