Fellow blogger Hugh Walter of Small Scale World recently acquired a set of Thunderbirds key-ring figures.
Hugh reckons they seem to be the same as those handled by Xandria-Holland of New York in the US . . .
(about 3/4's of the way down the page)
Another possibility is a Spanish origin maybe. I checked my Dennis Nicholson Gerry Anderson Memorabilia Guide and they look like these Dutch ones from 1968 too, but there's no makers' name.
They look so similar to the Dutch ones, I can't imagine it's not them.

Second Mish., I believe also they are Dutch. Found Parker in a dime sale bin of a vintage shop while last in Amsterdam. I think they are still quite common there.
ReplyDeleteYou're both right, Xandria were registered in the US, but as a Haarlem/Haarlen (it's not clear)-based company from the Netherlands! The US Advert is wholly misleading, they were a marketing outfit of some kind/US 'Office' for dutch stuff, but probably still HK made!
