Halloween is approaching and monsters are spreading their wings.
A while back we were wondering what this picture was based on.
Its from the Space Monsters colouring book.
I recently stumbled on this movie art for the film Galaxy of Terror and thought ... hmmm, maybe!
Another contender could be the flying skull bat in House.
Reader Lance suggested the hallway ghost in the original Poltergeist and ....
...the rat bat spider in the Angry Red Planet.
Some dates would help I think.
In the meantime, any more ideas readers?
The still from Poltergeist somewhat obscures the body of the ghost. This shot is of it under construction and will show the influence more easily.

Yes, I see what you mean Lance. That photo is really clear and the skull head is very very similar to the drawing in the book!
