As my loan of the Project SWORD Nuclear Ferry toy is coming to an end I thought I would re-post the pictures I took recently of it as part of my complete SWORD fleet. I do have some more pictures of it to blog as well but its days at Moonbase are nearly over. It has been a real pleasure to have had the rare Nuclear Ferry in my fleet for the last 12 months or so and I wish it well on the next stage of its journey across time.
Displaying a large group of toys at home like this for a day is a lot of fun especially when its for other people coming round. I've done it three times now. How best to temporarily display it is a good question though.
Its easily answered for me as we only have one table big enough but how would you do it readers if you got a whole collection out of storage for someone to look at?
Toys like that are the only storage problem I still have. My large cabinets are ideal for my big scratchbuilds and my wall mounted ones are perfect for small stuff but I've nothing for medium sized stuff (and not much space left to install such a unit either!)
ReplyDeleteI'd love a man-cave like yours Kev with lots of glass cabinets. Alas, my toys have to go back into the attic. Having said that I do have some large boxes of amazing stuff up there, which have just arrived on loan. I will start blogging them soon!
