Kenner SSP, or Revrods as they were known in the UK, are a real winner for me. I love futuristic vehicles and that coupled with the real playability of these cool cars put them high on my wants list. Kenner brought out dozens of models in the states and the UK got four. A recent |purchase shows that Europe, or at least Germany got the thin end of the wedge too, as I discovered a red variant of the usually blue Sidewinder, named Reisser by a german company, under licence from Kenner. Either way, it sits beautifully with my green Revrod Eliminator, yellow Sandscorcher and blue SSP Can-Am .![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzbN9TpzazHJnP_OrUzYa5Ct6a-9EKb8Z2kz4y0aQVNIg4NlnaqiG3oU3SfTdIiuJulkxVY9I-awi7MfPQEf0TCm0eUh_LymnXikb_jlAZH3Vc9jNu9ZuxlhTKZAqm6TUOmxaB1N0q1vMG/s640/SAM_8929_1.jpg)

I remember seeing the yellow buggy at the time, never had one but I did have the Pink Panther car that used the same drive system.
ReplyDeleteThat six wheeled buggy is very cool! I wouldn't mind having one of those in my collection.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of these before. They look kinda neat and I'll bet they zipped along at decent clip too!
