Further to Salim's amazing discovery of the two carded Scouts from Japan, he is also the proud owner of this fabulous armoury of rare vintage Japanese Thunderbirds toy rifles. I have only ever seen a few black and white pictures of some of these in Dennis Nicholson's 1994 Guide Book and never any in colour or so many in one place! Enjoy Salim's fantastic pictures readers!
NEWSFLASH: Anyone interested in purchasing these rare Thunderbird toys should contact me by email and I will pass your details to Salim.
Amazing! But why do so many of these seem to want Japanese children to practice shooting at International Rescue vehicles and members of the Tracy family as targets? Are you sure these sets weren't secretly designed by the Hood?
ReplyDeleteYour'e right Richard! You'd think that the weapons would be at least pointing at big monsters like Godzilla or Rodan! The Tracy Family are Friends not foe! Still, they are amazing toys aren't they and fabulous that Salim has them all in one place. Would they be classed as politically incorrect these days or not?
ReplyDeleteI can hardly believe that what looks like a Western Winchester rifle has been passed off as a Thunderbirds gun!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean Andy! I.m sure that Crescent Toys did something similar here in the UK.
