Paul,
Here are two pics of the exhibit at the Canadian Air & Space Museum in Toronto. These were taken before we actually mounted signs and stuff. i.e. a rough layout. There is much more in there now and it is laid out nicer. There is a whole thing about 2001 A Space Odyssey and stuff about Goddard, Oberth and Tsiolkovsky. It still needs final signage adding etc. The visitors to the museum seem to have really enjoyed it so far. Especially the big kids!

Excellent Darth. It must have been a lot of fun setting this up. SWORD, SPACEX! Great, and that PAYA buggy is HUGE! It's catching too, Arto is involved in an exhibition too in Finland previously posted on the blog!
Wow! Brilliant to see this. Thanks for showing us that photo!
ReplyDeleteNice collection! OT, I've put photos of my spaceman figures on the Yahoo Group - Take a look, guys!

Wow, cool. I need to plan a trip up north, I guess...
ReplyDeleteI love that SPACEX moonbase.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm getting sillier with age - I hadn't realised there were all those photo albums at the yahoo group until Grif told us about his spacemen figures. You have to wonder what's going on in my head, don't you ^_^
ReplyDeleteThe SPACEX moonbase is pretty good! Glad I finally got one a while back.
Nice figures Grif! Cool. And PT, nice to meet another paid-up member of the Spacex Moonbase Owners Club!
ReplyDeleteThat's a club I'd like to belong to!
ReplyDeleteIf you don't ever get one, RP, console yourself with the thought that it's just a dolls-house for boys. With those cute little bunk beds and such.
ReplyDeleteBut, ssh, don't tell the others, cos they might not know ^_^
