Probably my all time favourite premiums would have been the Space Race, Totem Tribe and Crater Critters. It's a damn shame such miniature wonders no longer fall into the cereal bowls of the world. Although there have been some good premiums from LEGO and Kelloggs recently.
Just for the sake of completion - heres the Kelloggs Molab from the Wotan Archive.
Original battered Molab 1969 on left! |
Beautiful collection Andy B and thanks for posting Wote. They must be difficult to keep in good condition as they look brittle. I see that the MOLAB is missing from the space group. Is this one to look out for for Mr.B?
ReplyDeleteIve added the Molab - i always liked the way the atlas rocket sat neatly on the back of the rocket transporter. You can often pick the space premiums up comparatively cheaply on ebay in Australia.
ReplyDeleteYes, I never ate enough cereals to get the molab -did my best!
ReplyDeleteThere are a few small bits broken, but they're largely intact.
My original Molab has suffere badly, rocket transporter and Atlas got lost over time and I never got any of the others coz I hated Sugar Smacks! Had to buy them all on ebay again a year or so ago!
ReplyDeleteAwesome collection, many thanks for sharing the photos.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if recasts-reissues have been made available by 'garage' kit company or other vendor ?
