Ed's Space Wars HG Set

Woodsy, I managed to pick up this boxed HG Toys (Harett Gilmar Co.) 'Space Wars' playset from around 1979 - maybe earlier. My set was missing two of the Space Commando figures but I had plenty of extras to replace the two.

Anyone else got one?

The Hills of Mars

Hard to believe but Curiosity has been trundling round Mars now for 13 years! 

I've followed the little rover from time to time and one of my favourite NASA images this season is this one from September.

It a fabulous vista showing a range of craggy ridges off Mount Sharp with the 'boxworks' in the foreground. 

So stunning yet it could be the East coast of Yorkshire near me! 

In a world of uncertain chaos I'm always grateful for the work of NASA and the thought of Curiosity up there on Mars makes me smile.

Brian's Monster Christmas Stuffing!

Hi Woodsy.

You seemed interested in my Celery and Onion Stuffing, so I'm giving you a basic idea of what goes in it.

Cubed, toasted bread of your choice( I prefer white or sourdough), diced onion and celery, sautéed in lots of butter.Add Chicken or Vegetable Stock to cover.Bring to boil.Add bread to vegetables toss to coat bread.Cover pot and let it sit a few minutes on low heat.

The bread absorbs the liquid and the steam softens it a little The bottom heat toasts some of the cubes and adds texture.The seasonings I use are garlic powder, dried Sage,Thyme,and Parsley.Its pretty simple and really tasty!

I don't like to put stuffing inside a Turkey,I think there's a risk of bacteria from raw meat leaching into the stuffing.I just serve it on the side!

I didn't include exact measurements because you might prefer metric(which I don't know too well)and also because you don't really need measurements for this recipe.You can go with your intuition on it.

 Here's a nice T in a Circle Cruiser I saw online and new to MC I think.

Model number 377 W.

Could W mean window box?

And Little Brother is Here? Does that mean there's a big version?

Anyone know?
