Can Anyone Identify this Masked Hero/Villain?

Hi Woodsy, this bust has been in the barbershop for a while now and customers and staff often ask who it is and I've gotta say I've no idea, many years ago I had a pair of encyclopedias of heroes and villains from the comic book world but I'm still stumped!

Any readers have an angle on this?

A QUESTION OF BIKES

Hello again and I hope you're fine. Now since you know about toys so much so, this question is about them since I consider myself as a toy collector.

So I was wondering if you got an idea about those bikes from the side of the Motor Max brand.

They are from the medium sized toys unlike Hot Wheels and Majorette (good enough for an action figure like G. I. Joe) so, any idea about the exact "side name " for them?

They said they are Yamaha, but I still need the information about the exact type from their side names please.

Looey's Annuals... Sort of.

Hi there as soon as you asked for Reader's books I went down to my shelves and spectacularly failed to find a couple of vintage GA annuals I'd picked up at Opera Shops over the years.

I did find my Japanese Mooks (magazine/book) most of which I bought new almost 40 years ago!

The UFO Mook is a dear favourite and has been well thumbed!

BARTER BOOKS

The famous Barter Books second hand book store in Alnwick, Northumberland.

Its an old railway station and its huge. A couple of shots to give you a flavour. The website describes how they found a lost room too, which became the buffet!

Also a video of the toy train sets tootling around the ceiling of the old station store.

SECOND HAND IN ALNWICK

A few snaps of collectables I saw for sale in Alnwick this weekend as we holidayed in the northern stronghold.

What would you have got?

Lots of old kids' annuals at the famous Barter Books, one of the biggest second hand bookshops in the UK.

This is one of many cabinets full.

This old book cover caught my eye. Is that a toy tank? Also Barter Books.

In the town's charity shops Harry Potter was evident with these hardbacks at £10 a throw. Harry Potter's first two films were on location in Alnwick Castle.
