I've covered this Corgi toy on here before. The toy was gold because of the title of the film, and Corgi felt at that time that if they'd done it in silver birch it looked like the model was unpainted. They eventually went for the correct colour with the later models.
I did, which is a bit odd as I was never a Bond fan.
