I think I had a favourite T-shirt as a kid. It was brown and had a sort of squashy decal on the front but can't recall what.
As a teenager I wore a white Nashville T-shirt a lot. The word Nashville was in huge swirling letters.
Grown up I got a green Star Wars T-shirt somewhere and haven't stopped wearing it. Its got a stormtrooper helmet outline on the front with a purple stripe through it. All very faded now with holes in and the collar is fraying like mad.
God I love that T-shirt, the comfiest thing I own.
Did you or have you a favourite T-shirt readers?
Interesting one this Woodsy.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was at school we did Shakespeare's The Tempest as a school play.
The English teacher had sweatshirts done with a logo on to promote it.
I loved that sweatshirt and had it for many years.
Today I have a t shirt that is of the BBC 1 ident from the 70s, with the globe on. It is remarked upon wherever I go. I love it.
