ROB'S EIDAI THUNDERBIRD 2-DOOR LANDAU

This may not be your cup of tea, as it is not exactly futuristic, but I thought I’d pass it along for your amusement.

It’s from Eidai of Japan, a prolific maker of model car kits, and released in the U.S. and Canada in 1969 by our old friend, Paramount Hobbies.

I bought this model on eBay several years ago, half-built, unpainted and full of glue, so the project was to try and resurrect it as much as possible.

As you can see, not too much you can do with a “toy model” car. But it is a “Thunderbird,” after all!
