Hey Woodsy!
Here is a real weird SF contraption for you. It’s an Aoshima model kit from the early 1970s, and I have no idea what’s it’s really called, but as you can see it’s basically a sports car with a rocket launcher on top.
One of the oddest kits I’ve ever run across. The last picture shows the drone separately, as it’s hard to see on top of the car. As with many of these junk SF kits of the time, nothing fit together correctly! Enjoy!

Thanks Timmy. Thanks for the heads up.
DeleteThe box top clearly shows two of these cars in the air, attacking a large building on the ground, so they are flying cars. It does seem to have been popular around this time for toy companies to add missiles and fins to a sports car to turn it in to a Science Fiction model, with pretty weird results.
ReplyDeleteYes I like those flying cars on the box art Paul. Its a stunning model and the flying car is one of those Sixties dreams we all thought the future would be full of.
